What is DUPR and What Does it Mean for You?
DUPR stands for Dynamic Universal Pickleball Rating. It's a globally recognised, comprehensive, and inclusive rating system for pickleball players, used by everyone from beginners to professionals. It's essentially a number that can easily be used to compare yourself to other players (e.g 'I'm a 3.5')
Dynamic calculation is used which means a players rating is not fixed but constantly adjusts based on a players recent performance.
The Main Benefits
The main benefit is that it provides a standardised way for clubs, tournaments, and players to consistently group individuals by skill level. If you're a member of our club, let us know if you'd like us to add your details to the DUPR site.
DUPR and KPC
Our tournaments will now be DUPR rated, this means your results can go towards your rating.
Every week, we'll be running certain open play sessions that count towards your DUPR rating (you can find these on the app).
Our Own DUPR Coach
KPC's Coach Victor is a DUPR approved coach, (one of only two in the UK) which means he'll be able to help you get a clear starting point in pickleball by assessing your initial rating. You have the option of getting rated either through video upload or coach assessment. The assessment costs £50 and is open to both members and non-members. To book an assessment please contact us.
